Now that Valentine’s Day is over, it’s time to celebrate the next holiday and that is St. Patrick’s Day! St. Patrick’s Day has always held a special place because of my Grandma and Grandpa. They were Irish and loved to share Irish traditions and celebrations. Grandpa even kissed the Blarney Stone when they visited Ireland. Of course, with all fashion, this one is how to use trains to decorate for St. Paddy’s Day around your home.

Outdoor Train Decorations
First, we found this outside train with lots of shamrocks with multiple colors of green. There is leprechauns, a pot of gold, and my favorite it looks realistic. It looks like a steam train without a tender. The leprechauns look cartoonish without looking silly. These signs are waterproof, easy to store for each year and sturdy to decorate your yard. Check out this engine and 3 cars on Amazon.
This is another fun outdoor train decoration as it is a blow-up train with a pot of gold with loads of luck, grab it now for St. Patrick’s Day.
St. Patrick’s Day Train Decorations for Inside the House
Inside the house, we found a few choices for train decorations for St. Patrick’s Day. First up is this resin train with shamrocks, pot of gold, and Leprechaun would look great on a mantle or bookcase.
Another choice we found is 3 dimensional using green and gold, including a pot of gold as an engine. The leprechauns are singing, dancing, and having lots of fun on the train cars. This makes a great table decorations train theme for St. Patrick’s Day.
St. Patrick’s Day Book
Not a decoration for the house, but a fun book for all to read is Thomas and the Leprechaun. This great book not only includes all of our favorite blue engines, but it also has stickers too for a fun surprise for St. PatricksDay!
